The Nordic RBC Group connects healthcare professionals and researchers across the Nordic countries to improve care, education and research in RBC disorders, including thalassemia and sickle cell disease.

Bring together clinicians, nurses and researchers with an interest in RBC disorders.
Support professional exchange across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and other Nordic/Baltic collaborators where relevant.
Share information about meetings, guidelines, clinical trials and research protocols.
Improve awareness and management of haemoglobinopathies and other rare RBC disorders.
Promote collaboration with international partners, including TIF.
Education
A five-day advanced clinical training programme at the Danish Red Blood Cell Centre, Copenhagen. Open to physicians from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Application deadline: 21 August 2026.
Annual Nordic RBC Meeting
The Nordic RBC Meeting is an annual academic and educational meeting for healthcare professionals and researchers working with RBC disorders. The meeting brings together Nordic participants and international speakers for presentations, discussion and networking.
